Elevating Product Photography for GASM's New Packaging
At Capture House, we recently had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with GASM, a high-end alcoholic beverage company, to elevate their product photography as they introduced new packaging for their products. This project was particularly significant as it marked the first time GASM would showcase their products in cans, and we were thrilled to help them capture stunning imagery that would resonate with their target audience during the festive season.
The Partnership
GASM reached out to us to update their product imagery, aiming for high-quality pack shot photography that reflected their brand’s premium identity. The company wanted to ensure that their new packaging was presented in the best possible light, especially as they prepared for the busy festive season. With a quick turnaround time in mind, we scheduled a shoot in our in-house studio and completed the project within 10 days.
Innovative Product Photography Techniques
To highlight the unique features of GASM’s new cans, we employed expert product photography techniques, perfect for eCommerce use. The shoot involved two strategically positioned lights, with large strip soft boxes on either side to evenly illuminate the product. We also used negative fill on both sides of the cans to create better separation from the background, ensuring that the packaging's sleek design stood out in each shot.
Our post-production work was equally meticulous, using retouching in Photoshop to refine every detail and deliver flawless final images that aligned with GASM’s brand standards. The combination of lighting techniques and professional retouching ensured that the product photography was not only visually striking but also ready for online platforms, helping to boost the brand’s eCommerce presence.
